• The Colloquia was started and continues under the direction of Ms. Linda Gleason, math faculty.

An important characteristic of the LSMSA faculty and staff is that they too continue to learn, to explore, and to create. The Colloquia series offers students and guests an opportunity to hear about their latest research, the latest idea that captured their imagination, or their latest creative impulse. It might be a lecture about an important, but little known individual from Victorian England, a solo recital of piano or voice, readings from personal writings, or advanced mathematical theories and scientific discoveries.

Most presentations are followed by a time for questions and discussion, and all are followed by punch and cake!
