Retirement Celebration Honoring Dr. Al Benner, Jackie Jacoby, Joycelyn Miller, and Nurse Mary Teekell
3:00 PM to 4:30 PM
LSMSA will host a public retirement ceremony at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 honoring Dr. Al Benner, Jackie Jacoby, Joycelyn Miller, and Nurse Mary Teekell. The reception will be held in the Center for Performance and Technology (CPT), beginning with remarks in the Recital Hall and concluding with refreshments in the lobby. Friends and family members of our retirees are invited to take part.

The CPT is located on the west side of the LSMSA High School Building. Plenty of free parking is available nearby.

LSMSA Student Show and Pizza Party
4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

LSMSA's annual student art show will open with a reception on Thursday, May 9, 4:30-6 p.m.

This exhibit showcases some of the best of this year's student work from across the arts curriculum, including architecture, drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, and even boat-building projects. There is no cost to attend and the opening is a public event.

LSMSA is a tuition-free, residential, public high school for high-achieving rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a nominal room and board fee to cover housing, meals, and campus activities. The LSMSA Foundation offers assistance for families in need.
