    "Tranquility Above the Circus: A Journey from December 5, 1941"

    LSMSA's Sharon Turcan Gahagan Art Gallery will welcome "Tranquility Above the Circus: A Journey from December 5, 1941," an exhibition of work by professional artist Chestee Harrington, Nov. 6-Dec. 6, 2024. An open-to-the-public reception for the artist will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14, 4-6 p.m.

    Veterans Day 2024 Program

    This student-organized Veterans Day celebration will feature speakers, music, and performances in LSMSA's Treen Auditorium at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7. A student from LSMSA will read an essay, the LSMSA choir will sing, and Natchitoches resident Dr. Jerry Glynn Ferguson will be honored. Students will take a group photo outside next to the flag pole, following the ceremony, with faculty and staff Veterans raising the flag.

    LSMSA Info Session - Shreveport

    Representatives of LSMSA will visit with parents and students in Shreveport at the Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center in Downtown Shreveport, 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 7. There is no charge to attend this informational session, but registration is required.
    This informational meeting is made possible, in part, thanks to the generosity of Andress Artist & Entrepreneur Center and COHAB.

    Informal Fall Dance Concert: "Informance"

    LSMSA Dance Ensemble Present their Informal Fall Dance Concert "Informance." Works presented are choreographed by Associate Lecturer of Dance and Chair of the Creative and Performing Arts Department, Crystal Lewis, along with Fall Dance Guest Artist Jennifer Mabus, and student choreography. The show runs from November 8-9 at 7 p.m. in Treen Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to enter through the front doors of the High School Building.

    LSMSA Casino Night: Ace Bond, "Double O Eagle"

    LSMSA's annual Casino Night will be held on Friday, Nov. 8, 8-10 p.m. at the Eagle Eatery. The evening's theme is "Ace Bond: Double-O Eagle." Casino Night is a prom fundraiser sponsored by the Junior Class SGO. Admission is $7 at the door.

    Math 4 Fun: Teachers' Math Circle

    Dr. Leigh Ann Myers will lead a group of math teachers from the region in fun problem-solving exercises, 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 9 in Room 219 of the Center for Performance & Technology.
