This student-organized Veterans Day celebration will feature speakers, music, and performances in LSMSA's Treen Auditorium at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7. A student from LSMSA will read an essay, the LSMSA choir will sing, and Natchitoches resident Dr. Jerry Glynn Ferguson will be honored. Students will take a group photo outside next to the flag pole, following the ceremony, with faculty and staff Veterans raising the flag.
Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) is the preeminent state-supported residential high school with competitive admissions for Louisiana's high-achieving, highly-motivated sophomores, juniors, and seniors. As a public school, there is no tuition to attend, and assistance from the LSMSA Foundation ensures the program is available to all qualifying students regardless of family financial need.
