LSMSA Gallery Presents: Biological Visualization, Opening September 9th

A new exhibition titled "Biological Visualization" will open at LSMSA's Sharon Turcan Gahagan Art Gallery and features the work of Louisiana Tech University undergraduate students. 
"The VISTA Center at Louisiana Tech offers students the opportunity to combine their passion for science and art through course work and client-based projects. The work in this exhibit provides examples of student work created in partnership with community clients. Each piece was created to communicate complex information to a general audience so that medical and scientific education could be shared despite potential language barriers. Through thoughtfully designed courses, students develop the skills and knowledge to generate infographics, illustrate children’s books, and create impactful illustrations." - Nick Bustamante, VISTA Director Professor, Studio Art 

The closing reception will be held at the Gallery on Monday, September 23rd, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM and the Gallery hours are M-F 11am – 4:30pm or by appointment
